Bruce Boxleitner

Bruce Boxleitner (born May 12, 1950) is an American actor and science fiction writer, best known for his roles in the television series *Scarecrow and Mrs. King* (1983–1987) and the *Tron* film series. He has had a long and varied career in television, film, and literature. Bruce Boxleitner was born in Elgin, Illinois. He developed an interest in acting at an early age and pursued it professionally after studying at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. After honing his craft on stage, he transitioned to television and film, where he began landing roles in the 1970s.
