Jang Joon-hwan

Jang Joon-hwan, born January 18, 1970, in Jeonju, South Korea, is a renowned film director. He graduated from Sungkyunkwan University and the Korean Academy of Film Arts. Debuting with the 1994 short "2001 Imagine," he gained fame with "Save the Green Planet!" (2003), followed by "Hwayi: A Monster Boy" (2013) and "1987: When the Day Comes" (2017). Married to actress Moon So-ri since 2006, they have one child.
