This hilarious scene recounts the misadventures of our friend Rigadin, who, due to fortuitous circumstances, has replaced his fiancée, Héloïse Roulan, in her role as rose-dresser. Unfortunately, at the moment of the coronation, the Mayor wants to kiss the lucky lady who must lift her veil and the whole village recognizes Rigadin.
