In the meaning of Pascal, 'a war between Truth and Violence' or in the meaning of the Godspell, 'a division between a man and his father (...)'. And because the idea was to adapt Girard's "Achever Clausewitz", the Prussian General, author of 'Vom Kriege'. As far as the film itself is concerned, this means also war between sound and image... The film introduces a character in this episode that will probably never appear during the film (or, in the contrary, will be present in every frame of it in some way)... but who knows.
